MineralDB Database Updates

MineralDB Standard - Database Update March 2008 (20MB)
(IMA approved species to March 2008)

Installation

First of all Close MineralDB and Rename your existing database files (normally located in c:\program files\mineraldb)

MineralData.mdb   to   oldMineralData.mdb
LocalitiesDB.mdb   to   oldLocalitiesDB.mdb

Now download the database file (above) and unzip the new database files into your MineralDB installation folder (normally, c:\program files\mineraldb)

MineralDB 1.3.04 to MineralDB 1.3.05
This release adds an additional label type in the print options (You must install the previous versions first).

MineralDB 1.3.03 to MineralDB 1.3.04
This release fixes the display of MineralDB using widescreen monitors, and general display issues at different resolutions.

MineralDB 1.3 to MineralDB 1.3.03
This release fixes the printing of the Mineral Formula (superscript and subscript) in the reports/labels, and the Grid References limiting to 2 characters. If you are using an earlier version of MineralDB than 1.3 then please contact support by email: support@mineraldb.com


Update Installation Guide

1. First of all Close MineralDB.
2. Download the required update file zip file.
3. Unzip the .upd file to your desktop.
4. Insert the MineralDB CD and run the Update Program
5. Press the Update button and select the .upd extracted from the zip file.
6. Finished.
